Our new 2010 Portable Infrared PTC Heater model BH-2009 incorporates the latest energy saving, safety, and heating technology. As a result of it's PTC heating element, our heater is 40% more energy efficient than most traditional space heaters on the market today. Instead of heating the air in your room, infrared heat heats objects in your room first, which in turn radiate the absorbed heat back into the room. The benefit to this technology is you feel more comfortable in a room heated with infrared heat than with conventional sources of heat, and the heater does not reduce the humidity or oxygen levels in your room. Since the floor, ceiling, and walls of your room are heated evenly, you do not experience temperature differences between floor and ceiling like you would with conventional heating systems.
