Product Description
The MH9B little buddy is a 4,000-9,000-BTU portable, indoor safe radiant heater. A single 4,000 heat setting delivers sufficient radiant heat for a space up to 200-square-feet. Safety features include a tip over switch that will shut the heater off if it gets knocked over and a low oxygen sensor that shuts the heater off when oxygen levels in the room get too low. The pilot design will also shut the heater off completely if the pilot light goes out. Heater uses a knob for ignition and a separate single button acts as a kill switch. Clean burning and nearly 100-percent efficient. CSA approved and factory tested with a one year warranty. Tank not included. (not intended for use in California. See item F232025)Similar Products

This is an excellent heater and did a great job keeping our 12x15 tent warm. My only concern is that it is not supposed to work in elevations above 7,000 ft. I did not see this information anywhere in the description or reviews. I came close to returning it, but decided to use it when we were camping at 5,000 ft. It rained all day & night so we were thankful we had the heater. Not sure what to do when we camp at higher elevations.

Fantastic product - highly recommended for snappy localized heating. I bought this unit for a fall camping trip to Vail, CO -- Bryce Canyon, UT -- and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, AZ.
While in Vail, the temps made it down to 25 the first night we were tent camping and the Mr. Buddy heater kept our 100 sq. foot tent toasty warm throughout the night.
Over the 9 day trip we successfully used the unit at various altitudes up to 8500' and temps down to 25 with no problems whatsoever. I used the 16 oz propane canisters (green coleman fuel) with ease. (Count on about 1 can per night)
Excellent product and designed with safety in mind...even though the unit is kicking out the heat, the surround and body stay cool enough to touch. No concerns for my tent floor.
Shop around and get it on sale. (Minor note - mine has the newer yellow body vs. the pictured red)

There are currently two seemingly identical models listed on Amazon, the F232025 and the F273400. I contacted the manufacturer and verifed that the F232025 is the newest version. The F273400 was manufactured through 2008. For this reason, I'd recommend purchasing the F232025. It's also cheaper.
Please be kind enough to indicate if reviews are helpful.

We used it camping in a tent and it kept the tent in the 60's while it was in the 30's outside! My wife will never complain about camping again.
